As we shifted our office to another place, we are able to use the internet connection 'FTTH' that stands for 'Fiber to the home'. The optical fiber is linked to the modem on my desk!!!
Merits? It supports Giga bps speed with very stable connection.
Even I'm using the lowest internet service, though it gives me 12Mbps up and download speed and I don't need more than this(If I call the Internet Service Provider and ask for 100Mbps, I could use fully 100Mbps internet connection!!!).
Comparing to ADSL, it was 4Mbps download and 800Kbps upload.

장점에 대해 말하자면, 최대 1기가bps 풀 스피드로 안정적인 연결이 가능하다.
내가 사용하고 있는 상품이 최하위 목록이지만 업.다운로드 속도가 12메가bps, 초당 1.5메가바이트를 올리고 받을 수 있고, 전화국에 전화해서 100메가 회선 신청하면 당장 100메가bps 그러니까 초당 12메가바이트의 속도로 업다운이 가능하다.
이 전에 ADSL과 비교하면 예전에는 4메가bps 다운로드, 800킬로bps 업로드였으니...
